Juan Williams launches sexist attack on Ann Romney
Juan Williams, responding on Fox News to Ann Romney’s RNC speech, said that Ann looked “like a corporate wife.” He added that “the stories she told about struggles—it’s hard for me to believe. She’s a very rich woman.” Williams explained that a “corporate wife” is a woman “whose husband takes care of her.” And according to Williams, that’s Ann Romney.
Ah. Where to begin. I’m having trouble understanding Williams when he says that it’s hard for him to believe that Ann Romney struggled. I’m sorry… since when was it easy to raise five boys, have MS and breast cancer?
I love how the left is constantly talking about this fictitious “war on women” being waged by Republicans, yet they constantly make misogynist attacks on Republican woman and think it’s perfectly fine. According to liberals, it’s okay to reduce a woman to a “corporate wife” and downplay her health problems and struggles, but not okay for Republicans and Libertarians to not want to pay for Sandra Fluke’s sex life. Makes perfect sense.

Even if Ann Romney was a a corporate wife so what? Women work harder than men. I was raised by a single mom. Doesn’t matter if she is single or married. A mother is the hardest working woman on the planet. Rich or poor.

Juan, I’ve always admired you and turned up the TV when you were speaking, but you are so wrong on Ann Romney and ignorant. Here’s a woman that has brought 5 wonderful sons into this world and suffered MS and Breast Cancer…..She supports her husband and adores her 5 sons and Grandchildren and LOVES AMERICA!! This Fox news back and forth is getting silly. No one built anything for my Father, he was an orphan and I’m adopted, No entitlements, but enough with that. I started working at Disneyland at 16…..worked hard my entire life putting our girls through College and Grad School with absolutely NO financial aid. My Little Sister graduated top 1% of UC Irvine, rec’d no financial aid…Funny and my Daddy and grandFather fought for this country……WOW….I’m volunteering 3 days a week and donating to our Republican Headquarters …..so sorry, but when you start talking, I’m going to start to MUTE. We can NOT Loose America and Yes…. I miss PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN..
Talk about bitter… and im sure he takes care of his wife just fine…. or maybe she works at the post office. Anyway, its amazing how success is a target under this administration. Who provides the jobs in the country? Bums on the street? Welfare Recipients? This guy is an EFFEN IDIOT.
She may be a corporate wife now, but in the beginning she was a stay at home mom taking care of the household before they had money. Which the last time I check the stats a stay at home mom that truly ruins the hosehold is equal to working two jobs.

Heartless comment. Juan couldn’t see Ann Romney as a flesh and blood mom who suffered breast cancer and MS, one who raised 5 sons. To Juan, their crime is being successful with the business they built.
