Dear Ms. Fields,
I watched your appearance on Fox News relative to the younger generation paying for social security and medicare. Please bear in mind that I am totally opposed to both programs. The pained look on your face reminded me of Diane Swoyer (she has the best pained look of all TV personalities) when you said that you were paying for these programs, condescendingly indicating that only the young have any worth to the future of society. Many older americans are paying into both systems and have for many years. I am 68, still work, pay taxes, including school taxes, moreover a large amount of my tax money is used to subsidize state universities and many other programs that directly benefit the young. I have a basic education and as a result have been self employed for nearly all of my life, creating many jobs, training many young people and paying very large sums of taxes, including matching social security for my employees. I serve as chairman of the investment committee at Wayne Memorial Health Foundation (volunteer position) and am a partner of Chatlos-Roegner Capital Management as well as 25% owner of a landscaping company where work with younger people and continue to train them. You must be amazed that I will be meeting with a group of people ranging from 67 to 83 that have 3 inventions, one patented, one pending patent and one in the development stage. I think of each generation as equally important and would be willing to debate you at any forum on the relative merits of younger and older generations

Just learned of your new show with West, really looking forward to it! Have seen you and him on Fox previously, and my husband and I agree with your viewpoints, and are pleased to have more intelligent voices on the air. Best of luck, we’ll be watching for sure.
